Elias: Rescue Team Adventures

Golden Bay is having a fancy dress party. Princess is dressed as a Royal Barge, Rocky as a clown, and Cruiser has come as a pirate. However, when Cruiser decides to take to the high seas, he forgets to fill up on fuel and becomes adrift. / Trawler has been bragging about his exploits in his younger days. Elias, Swifty and Dippy decide to put Trawler's supposed heroism to the test.

Big Blinky's island has been left with seaweed, rocks and other detritus after a big storm. Trolley discovers what Gill and Gull pronounce to be an egg. Elias transports the egg to Cozy Cove where it is to be kept safe. / Helinor, Dippy and Elias have to take a test to prove that they are rescue-worth. Elias fails the test and now he can't go on patrol unless Helinor or Dippy go with him.

Elias decides to go exploring in unknown waters without telling anyone, but he strikes a hidden rock and damages his propeller. It's up to Swifty to lead Helinor and Dippy to help him before he's dashed against the rock. / Trolley decides he'd like a day out in Cozy Cove to spend with his friends. But when he stows away aboard Trawler, his disappearance sets in motion a huge rescue mission.

While Trolley is having repairs done at the shipyard, Big Blinky's light bulb blows, and there is nobody to fetch a spare form the stores below. / Rocky is showing off again - and manages to Splash water all over Smacky. Rocky finds this very amusing indeed, but Big Blinky nor Smacky don't. And with Elias' help, he turns the tables on Rocky - once he's fitted with a whopper of a jet engine!

Trawler is setting off on another fishing trip in spite of warnings of an approaching storm. In seeking to moor himself until the storm passes, Trawler manages to get his anchor stuck. / Swifty refuses to be sensible and charge up before setting off for Echo Cave where during a game of Hide and Seek he loses all his air and is unable to call for help.

The Cozy Cove Light Show is the most magical display to celebrate the longest night of the year. When Rocky decides to have his own display in Golden Bay the power surge cuts all the electricity to the entire area. / Smacky's depressed because he's not the fishing boat he was in the old days. But Elias and Dippy feel sorry for Smacky and come up with a plan to restore his confidence.

The warm spring weather begins to thaw out the winter ice, but it also brings a massive iceberg drifting down from the North. Elias must lead an armada of boats in an attempt to tow it off course. / Cruiser almost causes a collision between Princess and Trawler, but then accidentally appears to save them. Everyone calls him a hero and the idea goes to his head.

Crane gets flustered when a big storm causes Cozy Cove to become untidy. Elias leads the efforts to clean up, and suggests all of Mane Bay should have a spring clean. / When Golden Bay is polluted by a mysterious oil slick, Rocky, Cruiser and Princess have to relocate to Cozy Cove. They are horrified not to be able to have their usual luxuries, and cause problems for their hosts.

Crane watches wistfully as the Cozy Cove boats head out to sea one morning on their various missions. She wishes that she wasn't so stationary as she'd like a holiday herself. Elias helps bring a holiday resort to her. / Rocky has had his engine souped up at a distant ship-yard. But when his new engine develops a fault, he finds he can't get out of top gear.

Elias and Swifty are having a race. Swifty manages to maroon himself on Big Blinky's island, where his mournful cries are mistaken by Big Blinky as the song of a mermaid. Elias gets to the bottom of the mystery. / Big Blinky and Little Blinky are testing out their fog horns and their fog lights as they know there's thick mist about to engulf the whole of the archipelago.

Elias and Swifty come across a flotilla of rubber ducks, floating in the shipping lanes and causing confusion for everyone. Together they attempt to gather them up, but where did they all come from? / Helinor inspires Elias with her traveller's tales. When he hears of a nautical parade taking place in a nearby harbor he insists they must do the same thing at the start of the holiday season.

Princess declares that she doesn't care about some of the equipment, like compasses, and can get along just fine by following familiar landmarks. Elias and Dippy point out that her technique wouldn't work in a sea mist but Princess assures them it never fails. / When Smacky goes to sleep on his way back to Cozy Cove after a hard day's fishing, Elias and Helinor are called out to rescue him.

Scary Straits is a death trap and everybody knows it but when Elias spots Helinor's vital hospital delivery floating into the Straits he has no choice but to sail into the perilous waters and risk his all to rescue the precious vaccines and medicines. / Smacky's engine, after a trip to Windeville Island to pick up a crate of cheese, develops a squeak.

Elias has a cleaning session scheduled in Goliath's workshop, but he doesn't want to go so he gives his time slot to Smacky who's massively impaired by the barnacles all over his hull. / The day after a party in Golden Bay reveals that a lot of clearing up has to be done. Cruiser is saddled with the job of taking the litter to the recycling plant in Cozy Cove.

It's the day of the Cozy Cove Water Sprint and Elias must deploy the buoys that mark the course, but he fails to do the job properly and the buoys drift towards Scary Straits, leading the competing boats into danger. / Elias volunteers to help Trawler land a large catch but first he's just got time to do a bit of surfing with Swifty, Princess and Dippy on Gull Island.

It's recycling day on the Big Blinky's rock but Cruiser refuses to take smelly recycling bins in his cabin so Elias takes on the job. / Princess learns the hard way the rules of seafaring ships, sticking to sea lanes and considering other vessels has its advantages.

Smacky pops a piston while racing Elias against a strong tide. The little rescue boat tows him back to the shipyard for repairs, but they are horrified to discover that Smacky's piston isn't made anymore. / When Cruiser discovers a large crate has been delivered to Golden Bay, he decides it must be meant for someone in Cozy Cove. But on his way there, he manages to drive the crate into a rock.

When several boats including Elias are accidentally given sunflower oil instead of engine oil, they're engines all fail out at sea. With so many boats in trouble, Helinor and Dippy can't rescue them all on their own. / Dippy, Swifty and Elias are going fish watching in the crystal clear waters of Gull Island where they're disturbed by noisy Rocky who comes bouncing over the waves at top speed.

Elias has towed Cruiser back to Golden bay after an accident, but has run very low on fuel. Rocky suggests that Elias fills his tank there - but directs him to the wrong pump. / Elias shows Princess how work and chores can be fun. After watching Trawler, she wonders if fishing could be fun too. Trawler tells Princess that she isn't the right sort of boat to go fishing.

Big Blinky tries to persuade Trolley to take a shower but Trolley says his wheels are rusty enough without standing in water. When Elias and Princess see how rusty his wheels are they offer to oil them which Trolley accepts. / Trawler loses his starting crank which has slipped under his deck into the bilge area.

It's Midsummer Day and Night too. Elias and his friends intend to play in the sun on Gull Island until they drop! Trawler accompanies them but he along with Gill and Gull just can't keep up with the over-active youngsters. / Princess has a new computer game, "Whales and Squids" which she plans to play with all her friends.

Elias longs to be a pilot ship and is envious of Trawler who assumes the task of guiding a container ship out to sea. Trawler takes on more than he can handle and calls on his friends to rescue him. / When Gill and Gull come across Elias and his friends playing close to Gull Island they ask them to be quiet as some chicks are hatching out in the nearby nature reserve.

Cruiser gets lodged in between rocks at Gull Island. The whole rescue team has to pull him free, but in so doing, Helinor crashes on top of a tall stack and damages her motor. / When Dippy develops a problem with her engine, Goliath discovers he doesn't have the parts to repair it.

Little Blinky's feeling sorry for herself. She's stuck on a rock whilst her friends zip here and there around the archipelago having fun. Elias, Dippy and Princess try to think of games they can play, I Spy seems the most appropriate as Little Blinky certainly can't move from the rock she's built on. / Dippy, Elias and Swifty are heading off to Windeville where Smacky grew up.

Elias is entranced by stories of pirates and treasure ships. When he discovers wreckage on Razor Reef he's sure it's long lost treasure from the Golden Queen pirate ship. / When Trawler loses a crate of fish paste in a collision, Elias has to stop playing with Princess to rescue the unfortunate fishing boat.
