Paola begins to plot the way to kidnap Paulina in order for her to replace her as the "Firsts Lady", threatening to kill her sick mother; therefore, she is forced to accept.

There is total chaos in the Palacio Nacional… While Pascual performs his duty and takes Carlos and his kids to a safe place, paramedics tend to Paulina. Carlos is sure that the bullet was aimed at him.

While Paola is in Bora Bora with Gonzalo, she learns that her plan against Paulina failed, and forces Manuel to end "the job".

Gonzalo wakes up tied and gagged. Paola tells him he'll regret trying to kill her, after she left everything for him.

Paola is devastated after what she did to Gonzalo. In a ritual, she asks for forgiveness and decides to come back from her trip.

Paulina warns Facundo Nava to stop frightening Montse, or else she will make Carlos fire him. At the same time, he asks her what she was doing at Gonzalo's house.

Carlos wants a new opportunity with Paulina, but she asks for some time to recover their friendship. Gema is in shock when she learns about Carlos' intentions.

Thinking that she is Paola, Santiago is about to kill Paulina. Fortunately, Nava arrives to save her, forcing Santiago to run away.

Emilio gets drunk after hearing the truth about his mother's death. When the police arrests him, there is a controversy in the social media.

Carlos thinks that Paulina has had a meltdown, and decides to commit her. Meanwhile she screams desperately that she is not Paola.

Nava discovers the truth about Paulina and decides to protect her. In Bogota, Olga hears that Paulina had an accident and her prognosis is not good.

Paulina and Paola wake up in different realities. Paulina starts to have feelings for Nava in his ranch, and Paola is in Bogota with Olga.

Paulina is determined to end with the lie, but she does not want to hurt Carlos or his family. Olga confirms her suspicions, and asks Paola's forgiveness for abandoning her.

Olga confesses to Paola that she gave her in adoption because they did not have the money for the operation, and thus she decided to keep only Paulina. She could not have the two of them.

Paulina feels the oppression of Carlos' presence in her room. He wants to continue the relationship to save their marriage, and asks her to spend the night together.

After hearing that Paola is in Bogota, Paulina and Nava go there in order to stop her and make her confess all the truth, so they can go back to their lives.

Carlos and Paulina go back to Mexico to contain Lisette. Gema sees that they are closer than ever, and gets jealous. Paulina has another panic attack, and feels that something is wrong with Olga.

Paola is in shock after her mother's death. She does not react and can't express her pain. Suddenly, she also suffers a panic attack.

After Olga's loss, Paola says she will return to Mexico to get back what's hers.

Paulina does not believe Paola when she tells her that her mother died suddenly and she couldn't let her know. But they can still make her dream come true.

Carlos declares his love to Paulina, but she is confused. He notices it, and can't avoid feeling jealous of Nava.

After being kidnapped, Paulina learns that the kidnapper is Manuel. She tells him that Paola will betray him too, sooner or later.

Paola impersonates Paulina and tries to turn her family against her, to gain from the situation.

Nava's call confirms Carlos and Piedad's suspicions: Paola is in the presidential house. She is discovered and forced to run away.

The press pesters Carlos, because the news is out about the kidnapping of the First Lady. They want to know if this is related to the attack on September 15th.
