Death Comes To Town

While the town of Shuckton, Ontario is eagerly awaiting to see if they have been chosen to host the 2028 Summer Olympic Games, the manifestation of Death pays a visit. Following the announcement, Death takes its first victim.

Following the murder of Mayor Larry Bowman, Dusty the coroner and police start the investigation. While the police think they've found the murderer with blood on their hands, Death has a another Shuckton resident as his next target.

The mayor's wife Marilyn holds a wake while Ricky and Marnie try to deduce who killed the mayor. Dusty shows his true feelings toward the mayor during the autopsy. Meanwhile, Death takes a break at some old haunts.

The trail of Crim for the murder of Larry Bowman is soon underway. Crim's lawyer however has other pressing issues to tend with. Marilyn, now Mayor, learns what Larry was really doing and now has a new suspect for his murder.

After discussing with Doc Porterhouse, Corrinda decides what to do about her pregnancy and Heather continues her professional maneuvering. While Crim's trial takes an unusual turn. Finally, Death manages to take a second victim.

After Heater is found murdered in the courthouse, her arch-rival Corrinda is taken in for questing, Crim's trail proceeds on., with Dusty providing some testimony that jeopardizes his much wanted and unknown alone time with the deceased.

Finding out that Larry was his father, Ricky learns the real story behind his birth. In the trial, Crim's lawyer Sam is preoccupied elsewhere to pay attention to his closing statement, while Death learns his work is not done.

Crim's execution is scheduled as an event which Marilyn plans to use an economic development tool. But with Marnie and Ricky's evidence of the murder weapon in hand, Larry's real murder confesses.
