The second series revolves around a councillor's dead body and his missing girlfriend Rebecca Jones. Detective Inspector Jack Burns is replaced by a Londoner, Detective Inspector Max Harper and newly Assistant Chief Constable Coulson, has sexual designs on WPC Dawson. It's tough being the only woman in an all-male precinct, but then again, so is she.
