"Monument to Love," a personal quest over 35 years to uncover the narrative of the Jewish people and their experiences during the Holocaust in Bulgaria. My mother joined me on this journey to track people, visit places, and research untold stories that defied common perceptions and highlighted the struggle of the Jews to resist, survive and mobilize help from righteous Bulgarians.
