The Sea Shepherds depart with a new vessel in their fleet: the Gojira. Early on, they find two harpoon ships - including the nefarious Yūshin Maru - in the whaling fleet before they've killed a single whale. They are now set up for their most successful campaign yet.

After engaging the harpoon ships with small boat teams, Captain Watson decides to abandon them and search for the factory vessel. But soon the tables have turned; harpoon ships are tailing the Sea Shepherds.

Tailed by a harpoon ship, the Steve Irwin enlists the help of the Gojira in an attempt to break free. Meanwhile, another crew spots a large blip on their radar and believes it could be their ultimate target: the Nisshin Maru.

When one of the small boats is damaged and the Bob Barker is five hours away, the crews realize that they will have to spend a night at sea. But they are freezing and wet and showing signs of hypothermia.

The Bob Barker desperately searches for two small boat crews that were stranded at sea. The Gojira locates the whalers' refueling vessel and Lockhart Maclean plays a dangerous game of chicken with the massive ship.

New Zealand's Navy contacts the ship in response to an emergency distress signal -- five crew members from a Norwegian sailboat are missing. The Sea Shepherds risk their lives to find the missing mariners.

As the first leg of their campaign comes to a close, the Sea Shepherds battle physical and mental exhaustion. Thanks to an anonymous tip, the Steve Irwin finally locates the whalers' factory ship - the Nisshin Maru.

The Barker and Gojira launch an assault on the harpoon ship that has been following them and disable the whaling vessel. No longer being tailed, the Barker searches for their target: the Nisshin Maru.

After months of searching, the Sea Shepherds have found the Nisshin Maru. But the behemoth factory ship is intent on escaping from the Gojira in the deadly Antarctic ice.

Captain Watson's crew to back down from the whalers, vowing to follow the fleet to the ends of the earth. Finally, Captain Watson sees his life's work pay off with the ultimate victory.
