Lila has taken refuge in silence, ashamed of her stuttering. Her life gets turned upside down when she meets Mo, a handsome, charismatic and adventurous young man. By his side, Lila gains a much needed self-confidence and comes out of her silence. However, Mo has an insecurity of his own: he can't read.
