In 2000, 31-year-old Mike Williams vanished while duck hunting on a Florida lake. His boat and his shotgun were found, but not his body. Seventeen years later, a violent kidnapping led detectives to suspects who had been there all along.

In 2011, 20-year-old Holly Bobo was abducted from her home in rural Tennessee. A search turned up some of her personal items, including her cell phone. But Holly was gone. The trail went cold for two years until a hunter made a gruesome find.

In 2014, 57-year-old Nancy Pfister was discovered beaten to death in her closet in her Aspen, CO home. When items of Nancy's were found, including the key to the closet where her body was found, investigators zeroed in on who was responsible.

In 2012, 42-year-old Michelle Mockbee's beaten body was found at work. She was wearing her pink sapphire ring, so robbery was ruled out. Employees and her husband Dan were interrogated. The case stalled until video surfaced that blew it wide open.
