90 Day Journey: Darcey

After texting and video chatting, 42-year-old divorcee and mother of two Darcey believes she has found her soulmate in Jesse, a 24-year-old personal trainer from Amsterdam. Darcey travels to meet him in person, but the visit gets off to a rocky start.

Darcey's first meeting with Jesse's family and friends doesn't go as smoothly as she planned. Then, Jesse faces the reality that a relationship with Darcey means he will be a stepfather, and he wonders if he is ready for the responsibility.

Jesse and Darcey have a huge fight over Darcey's drinking, and Jesse lays out an ultimatum. Jesse has a surprise for Darcey before she must return home, but it may not be the gift that Darcey wants. Later, Darcey prepares for Jesse to arrive in the US.

Jesse prepares to meet Darcey's daughters for the first time, even though he worries they need to resolve some of their issues before bringing the kids into the picture. Then, bickering at Darcey's birthday dinner turns into a huge blow-up.

Darcey's twin sister, Stacey, questions whether or not Jesse's intentions are real. Then, a dinner with Darcey's daughters devolves into yet another fight. When Jesse walks out, Darcey wonders if he'll ever return.

After a disastrous end to Jesse's first visit, he has decided to fly back to the US to see Darcey again. Darcey nervously leaves Connecticut to meet him in New York, hopeful that he is returning in the name of love.

Still reeling from her horrible breakup with Jesse, Darcey prepares to take another chance at love with Tom, a 39-year old British businessman she met on social media. She is excited to travel to London to meet him, but her family has strong concerns.

In spite of concerns voiced by both Darcey and Tom's families, Darcey heads to England to meet Tom in person for the first time. While both of them seem to feel a spark, Tom's plans for the sleeping arrangements have Darcey questioning everything.

Darcey and Tom are finally intimate, but the result isn't quite what either had planned. Then, Tom and Darcey join Stacey and her fiance, Florian, in Albania, and Tom becomes uncomfortable when he sees Darcey and Stacey's twin dynamic for the first time.

Darcey and Tom are settling into their trip to Albania, but Tom quickly becomes frustrated with the competitiveness and all of the bickering happening between Darcey and her twin sister, Stacey.

Darcey and Tom head to Tom's hometown of Nottingham in England, where Darcey is eager to show his sister, Emma, that she is a worthy match. Emma is skeptical, and she offers Darcey some difficult advice.

Tom and Darcey's time together in England comes to an end, and Darcey heads back to the US. She reunites with her sister, who offers Darcey support and encouragement as she wonders what the future will bring for her relationship with Tom.

Tom tells Darcey that he wants to meet up while he is in New York for business. Their overall lack of communication has her doubting his true intentions, however, and she wonders if she should agree to meet him.

Darcey and Tom meet in New York, but the reunion is bittersweet as the tension builds and their relationship begins to unravel. The couple is at a crossroads, and neither is sure if this the start of a new beginning together, or if this will be the end.
