After several small earthquakes rock the Sanford home, Russian seismologists tell Fred it's only a matter of time until the "big one" hits. A panicked Fred puts his house up for sale, complete with junkyard and junk, and prepares to move to Las Vegas. Will he make it in time?

After a battle with her husband, Esther packs her bags and takes refuge in the Sanford home. But the battle has just begun as Fred does his charming best to patch up the lovers' quarrel and send her home -- before he kills her himself.

Fred and Lamont are hapless bystanders at a bank robbery.

As new landlords of an apartment house, Fred and Lamont have to be selective about their tenants. Fred seems to have found the perfect renters -- a hooker, a hippie, an ex-con and newlyweds.

Fred and Lamont are outraged when they see a new television series about a man, his son and their junk business. Although the TV family is obviously dissimilar, the Sanfords prepare to sue the network to protect their reputation.

The only way for Fred to get his white brother-in-law Rodney out of his house and his hair is to do something drastic -- like go into show business.

Working on a campaign for a political candidate, singer/actress Della Reese convinces Fred to let her use the Sanford home as campaign headquarters. It doesn't seem to matter to Fred that Lamont is supporting the other candidate.

It's now or never for Fred when his girlfriend Donna receives a proposal from another man. She hands him an ultimatum that sends shock waves up and down his bachelor spine.

Feeling much like Prof. Henry Higgins, Fred attempts to transform the lowly Esther into an elegant lady in order to collect $500 from her husband. When she enters a beauty contest, in which Lamont happens to be a judge, Fred thinks being rich is far more important than being honest...and tries to convince Lamont of the same thing.

After he discovers how well and how cheaply his Japanese friend can cook, Fred turns his living room into a Japanese restaurant. Lamont explodes when he discovers his home has become "Sanford and Rising Sun."

Fred feels he has to compete for Donna's romantic attention when a Senior Olympics champ tries to move in on his territory. But that Senior Olympic crown may be tougher to take away than even Fred imagined.

Despite attempts by his friends to spread Christmas cheer, Fred becomes a miserable scrooge. After snarling at Lamont, Esther, Bubba and everyone else, Fred has a nightmare that Lamont is the "Spirit of Christmas Past."

When Fred accidentally stumbles upon an attempted murder, the criminal tries to make it two victims for the price of one. Fred ends up in the hospital and is given police protection. Will the killer find him anyway?

Fred steals money from Lamont for a get-rich-quick venture.

When a Sanford Arms' tenant can't come up with the rent, he leaves Fred his pet elephant as collateral. What else could Fred do with an elephant except stage a circus? And what a circus it is!

While Lamont is away on a fishing trip, Fred rents out his room to a very pregnant lady. When the time comes, Fred rushes her to the hospital -- where he's accused of being the father!

Fred's TV set is smashed during a squabble with Lamont (Demond Wilson).

Suspicious of Lamont's mysterious new girlfriend Janet, Fred feels an investigation is in order and transforms himself into the Watts version of Columbo.

Fred starts his own escort service to prove his "animal magnetism."

Fred is thrilled when Lamont announces his engagement -- until he learns that the couple doesn't want to live with him. In order to keep his son at home, Fred tells Lamont's fiancée that Lamont is not only a compulsive gambler, but he's also a heavy drinker. Who will she believe?

Fred gets the acting bug when he learns former boxing champ George Foreman will be in Lamont's play.

Fred is about to be honored with the Watts Businessman-of-the-Year award, but he's worried that his back problem will take the glory out of his walk to the podium. Lamont is sure the only cure is acupuncture and convinces Fred to give it a try.

Fred rehearses the story he'll tell his future grandchildren about his being a World War II hero -- complete with a George C. Scott/Patton impersonation. Wolfman Jack guest stars.

Fred and Lamont go camping and find themselves stranded in the forest. Their plan was to have a heart-to-heart talk before Lamont's marriage, but once in the wild, the truck breaks down, leaving them helpless and without food. Feeling doomed, they let their lives pass before their eyes. (Featured are highlights of past segments.)
