Six months since Tony's accident and he is still recovering from the massive head injury he sustained. Tony wants to go back to college, but he isn't the same person he was before, so his parents won't agree to that. Maxxie is looking after Tony for the day, but he's got his own problems. He wants to leave college and follow his dream to become a dancer but his Dad would rather see him continue in the family business.

Maxxie has a feeling that someone is watching him, but he doesn't know who. His stalker is Sketch, a loner who spends most of her time locked up in her house taking care of her disabled mom. She is in love with Maxxie and extremely jealous of Michelle, who is starring opposite him in the school musical. Meanwhile, Michelle is trying to make Tony remember their past together. Will Sketch succeed in her acquisition for Maxxie?

Sid's life is giant mess. He hasn't coped well with the fact that his best friend Tony isn't the same man he was, and his girlfriend Cassie moving away to Scotland doesn't aid the situation. When his Grandfather comes for a visit, Sid's parents must pretend like everything is right and normal but things get heavy when the truth rises to the surface. Jal and Chris strike a deal, where she will unwind a little as long as he gets his act together. Their relationship continues to grow but is soon threatened by the return of an old face.

Tony is desperate to find the way back to normal as his world has been upside down since the accident. Despite his attempts to act normal, when he sees the newly coupled Sid and Michelle together at a club he can no longer control his emotions. Nobody seems to understand what he is going through until he meets a strange beautiful girl who seems to understand him. But is she real?

The mysterious Effy has a lot to deal with. She is taking care of her depressed mom who lies in bed all day, tries to restore the relationship between Tony and Michelle, deal with the new girl at school, and handle her art coursework deadline. Can Effy handle everything she has on her plate or will her double life take the best of her?

Jal's got a big secret that she can't tell anyone until she decides what to do about it. On top of it all, she has a Spanish exam, music auditions, and needy best friends. She can't keep the secret for much longer especially from Chris who has also been hiding something.

Chris is getting better, Cassie is finally back together with Sid and exams are now over. Everything seems fine, but when a dinner party leads to confrontation between Cassie and Michelle, the lies and secrets become too much for Cassie to handle. She runs away to a place where her troubles are far way. But can she be happy here?

It is the day of the Final Report Cards and everyone had decided not to look at their grades until they've said goodbye to Chris. Jal can't face getting out of bed and Chris's dad gives the gang a hard time about the funeral. As decisions are made and friends say their goodbyes, the next chapter in their lives begins.
