Under a strict military curfew, Salah, a grieving Palestinian father, sets out towards the Israeli border carrying the body of his recently deceased son in a duffel bag. While fending off the terrible heat, Miri, a pregnant single woman, decides to help him no matter what the cost. On this brief and tender journey, two lonely souls become partners, even for only a few days.
