Candle in the Tomb: Weasel Grave (鬼吹灯之精绝古城)

Hu Bayi is going to America, Wang Kaixuan finds an old picture when he is packing things for Hu Bayi. He and Hu Bayi reminisce their old times as educated youth in Great Khingan. They went out with Yanzi to hunt weasels to trade for candies, and met Huamei in the dark night.

Hu Bayi, Fatty and Yanzi enter the grave. After many twists and turns, they finally catch the weasel.

The Weasel uses her pee to hallucinate Hu Bayi and the others, but ends up being caught by uncle Qiao Shan. Later, some other weasel sends a gold as the ransom. But Hu Bayi refuses to do the deal. At the very moment, Huamei falls ill suddenly. So Yanzi go finds the blind old woman to check up on her.

In order to get the bear gall to cure Huamei, Hu Bayi and the others go deep into the mountains to hunt the brown bear, end up capturing notorious Hua Bangzi who disguises himself as the brown bear.

They find a gold nugget from Hua Bangzi's pocket. Uncle Qiaoshan tells them, there's a gold vein hiding in the Mt. Tuan.

Xu Erhei and Hu Bayi all find out about the gold vein. He both decide to find the gold vein. Xu Erhei hears Hu Bayi is a Mojin Xiaowei, and steals his The Sixteen-chatacter Geomancy Secrets of Yin And Yang .

Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan, Yanzi, Uncle QIaoshan and Huamei find the entrance of the Ghosts' Palace. They use the Dragon Breathe and get into the place.

Hu Bayi and the others send Xu Erhei and the others' bodies back to the village. Wang Kaixuan reports the whole thing to the Secretary and asks him questions about Uncle Qiaoshan by the way. Meantime, Hu Bayi goes to Huamei's place to ask her about her origin.

Ding Sitian writes them a letter, said the Japs' Water supply unit was once stationed in Inner Mongolia. Hu Bayi Wang Kaixuan and Yanzi come to inner Mogolia. Uncle sheep gets frightened by the sand storm

Hu Bayi helps uncle Yangpi get back his horses. Uncle Yangpi tells a story about the evil dragon. Huamei and uncle Qiaoshan also arrive in the grassland, and they seem have grievances against uncle Yangpi.

Uncle Yang tells Uncle Qiaoshan the location of the Cave of Eyes. Uncle Qiaoshan leaves them to find it by himself. Uncle Yang's sheep get panic and run away. Hu Bayi and his friends set out to find the horses, but they finds that the horses all disappears in a place. Suddenly, they hear a very loud noise.

To find back the missing horses and Huamei's dad, Hu Bayi and the others finally arrive at the Cave of Eyes after going through so many difficulties.

They find the Japanese Water Unit's old building, all the doors in it are blocked. Somehow they get locked in the building, and there's also a monster in the chimney.

To avert the Samite-scale boa's attack, Hu Bayi and the others hide in the sewer and find a room by accident.

Ding Sitian gets poisoned by the samite-scale boa, Hu Bayi takes them to the research building to find the antidote. Hu Bayi blows up the boa, and catches the two weasels.

Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan go find the antidote for Ding Sitian, but bump into the corpse ginseng. To hide from the man-eating ginseng, Hu Bayi and the others get into the basement.

Hu Bayi and his friends kill the corpse-ginseng, finds the copper box and the antidote. Uncle Yang tells Huamei about her story.

After Qiaoshan shoots Hu Bayi, Huamei agrees to open the copper box. But Hu Bayi survives that shot. Then he and the others run into the place where the turtle sleeps to stop Huamei and Qiaoshan.

Hu Bayi breaks Huamei's conjuring and stops the dead from coming back. Qiaoshan dies in the Yama Palace, the rest all get out. They come back to the village. Uncle Yang picks the eyeless dragon seal back, and forced to throw it away.

Uncle Yang dies with his room being struck by thunder. Huamei suspects that it's a disaster induced by the eyeless dragon seal. So Ding throw the seal away.
