New York. Sami Yaffa is an accomplished musician who has seen all facets of life as a performing artist - he has toured the world in successful rock bands and earned a living as a street busker. Sound Tracker is his expedition to World Music. The odyssey begins from his hometown, the capital of the world - NYC!

Sami Yaffa, the musical nomad heads for the hills of Andalusia to immerse himself in the art form of anarchists, outcasts and rebels against society - flamenco. He also meets the guru of the genre holds fort in goat shed and witnesses all facets of flamenco from the dancing to making of instruments to playing the music.

Where exactly is the birthplace of tango? In order to solve this eternal quarrel between Buenos Aires and Montevideo, Sami follows in the footsteps of the legendary tango artists Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzola.

Brazil is mostly known for samba and bossa nova, but the musical heritage of the world's fifth largest country is much more varied than that. Sami travels to Recife, where the myriad musical influences meet the traditions of the past and the attitudes of the future.
