Ade in Britain

Ade begins the second series by traveling to the North East of England.

Ade is in Norfolk today, where he meets a local egg producer, attempts to turn corn into a doll and reunites with eel catcher Peter Carter.

Ade moves on to East Scotland, where he meets ale brewing brothers, a family of sporran makers and tastes some Highland cattle beef. Then, he makes Scottish broth for some local singers.

Ade heads to Buckinghamshire, meeting the last Aylesbury duck breeder and then building a Windsor chair, attending High Wycombe's 'weighing-in' ceremony and treating a male barbershop choir to a local dish.

Today, Ade returns to his birthplace: Yorkshire. He goes to a tea tasting in Harrogate and attempts to make some cutlery with a group of metal workers.

Ade heads for the beach as he spends some time on the beautiful Welsh coast. He meets someone who makes butter using a 100-year-old recipe.

Ade visits Staffordshire, learning about the county's most famous snack, trying his hand at pottery, visiting a marmite factory, going dancing and making a local dessert.

Ade explores Northern Ireland. He visits an apple orchard as well as tries basket weaving, baking soda bread and cooking. Later, he enjoys a local dance group.

Ade visits Cornwall, where he goes night fishing, joins a rowing race, samples some handmade ale and bakes biscuits for a group of harpists.

Ade is in the capital to visit Billingsgate Fish Market in preparation for a traditional London dish of pie and eels with liquor sauce.

Ade is in Yorkshire roaming the North York Moors in search of some tasty mutton. He discovers where to find Whitby Jet, a stone used to craft handmade jewellery.

Ade travels to Exmoor to view the oldest herd of red deer in Britain, meet some orange elephants, try his hand at Call Change bell ringing and meet up with singer Jackie Oates.

Ade travels to the West Midlands to discover the Balti Triangle. Later, he visits a pork scratching factory, learns how to make goat's cheese and has a spin in a handmade sports car.

Ade travels to Jersey in the Channel Islands. There, he meets a turbot farmer, tries his hand at spinning wool and cooks up some delicacies for the local brass band.

Ade visits West Scotland, where he goes to sea with a local scampi fisherman, learns about haggis, plays the bagpipes and cooks up a treat for a local fiddle player.

Ade is in Wales to discover the history of the Welsh Black cattle, learn how to make a Welsh blanket and cook up a local dish in the Brecon Beacons.

Ade heads for Northumberland, where he scours the coastline for lobsters, meets a pigeon racer and gets a taste of summer.

Ade travels to Sussex to learn about its Southdown sheep, has a go at making a cricket bat and goes foraging for wild mushrooms in the woods.

Ade's caravan arrives in Shropshire, where he meets a producer keeping alive a local fruit threatened with extinction. He also visits a historic teddy bear factory.
