Steve Baker, a down-and-out nightwatchman at the museum, finds himself at a crossroads-drowning in debt and in love with his best friend's girl. When art thief Marty Lyons ropes him into a world of oddballs, Steve wonders if it's a change for the better or the worst mistake of his life.
