- Prime Video offers flexibility in how you stream content. You can tune in to programs as they air live, as well as catch up later with your recorded content. Live streaming and recordings are subject to the broadcast rights in your location. If you've opted to record a show or sports league, you can start streaming from the beginning, even while a program is still in progress. If you haven't opted in to record, you won't be able to rewind or start from the beginning. Your recordings are available within My Stuff. My Stuff is on the Sports page for sporting events, on individual show pages, or on your channel subscription page.
- For select sports, you can opt to record entire leagues (such as NFL or MLB). This feature automatically captures all games from participating content partners. For Series and News, recordings capture all current and upcoming episodes automatically. Some content may not be available for recording due to rights restrictions.
- You have unlimited storage space for your recordings. They remain available for nine months after the original air date. After that period, they’ll expire and will be deleted automatically. You can also manually delete recordings at any time by disabling the recording feature for active content.
- First, check the bandwidth speeds on your device. For the best live streaming experience, Prime Video recommends a minimum download speed of 1 Mbps for SD & 5 Mbps for HD. If you’re experiencing issues with video juddering or motion, we recommend turning the Motion setting on your TV to Off. This setting might have a different name depending on your TV manufacturer. Some alternate names include Auto Motion Plus, TruMotion, MotionFlow, CineMotion, and Motion Picture. Prime Video serves the highest quality streaming experience possible based on the bandwidth speed available.
- If you see “this video is unavailable” or "unavailable due to regional restrictions" appears on your screen, that means the game isn't available in your area due to regional or national broadcast rights. If "enable location for event availability" appears on your mobile device, location services might be turned off. To fix this, go to your device's settings and turn on location services for Prime Video. If you have antivirus software, make sure it doesn't block Prime Video from accessing location services.
