Singarasu (Napoleon) is a knight in shining armour for eight villages. He resolves all the problems of the villagers and protects them from any impending danger. While he has conquered the hearts of the villagers, he neglects his wife Pandiyamma (Khusboo). She is so depressed that she commits suicide. Her sister Muniyamma (Urvashi) tries to substitute her sister's love for Singarasu, but he does not reciprocate.
