The Enid Blyton Adventure Series

While on holiday, Jack and Lucy-Ann (and their cockatoo, Kiki) befriend Philip Mannering and accept his offer to stay at his home in Cornwall: Craggy Tops. There they meet Joe, who helps Philip's widowed mother Allison, at her Art Gallery, and Philip's sister, Dinah. But as they leave they are followed by a stranger which is the first in a series of mysteries and adventures they will encounter.

After finding an old smugglers' tunnel while exploring, the boys fall into it and are unable to climb out. When they follow the length of the tunnel they discover stairs which lead to Craggy Tops' cellar. After Allison is befriended by the mysterious stranger, BIll, he offers to take the children out for a boat trip. But they don't trust him and set about trying to discover his true motives.

The children re-trace the route BIll took the previous day to the Island of Gloom. While there, Kiki accidentally leads them to a disused mine shaft. But the children discover Jake and two workers printing counterfeit notes and Jack is caught and taken prisoner. Will he escape? And can his friends assist and resolve all the mystery as their adventure draws to an exciting and surprising conclusion?

The holidays are drawing to a close. Jack and Lucy-Ann have to return to their Uncle but they don't want to go. The children decide to camp in the garden. Jack hears the call of an Owl and persuades the others to go with him into the woods to see it. But while searching for the Owl, they discover the broken wall of Woods Castle and see strange flickering and hear strange noises in the undergrowth.

Dinah questions what Bill really does for a living, suspecting he might be a secret agent. Allison scoffs at such a suggestion and spends more time with Bill while the children slip away to look at the Castle again. But this time they are chased by an unseen malevolent force. In their panic to escape, Kiki gets lost and Jack refuses to leave her. Unknown to the children, Kiki is then captured.

After Philip seeks the help of Bill and Allison, the children find their way through a turret window and continue their search for Kiki. But they soon discover that something strange is going on in this castle. And they are determined to find the answer to so many mysterious questions.

Bill has arranged for a long weekend flying trip to Scotland. But while the children wait on the plane, criminals, Tel and Ivan, with their captive Otto Scheer, arrive at the aerodrome and steal the plane, unaware of the children crouched fearfully behind the seats...

After landing in an isolated valley, the children escape from the plane and find a barn to rest in. Tel and Ivan notice the sleeping bags missing and go in search of their hitherto unknown stowaway passengers.

Captured by Tel and Ivan, Jack befriends Otto and the two work together to escape and find the treasure before Tel and Ivan do. Meanwhile a panicked Allison fears for her children and Bill plans a rescue mission. But can he put it into effect in time?

The family arrive in New Zealand for a combined holiday and business trip. They are met by Bill's colleague, Dennis, who needs Bill's help to solve the mystery of a missing agent who was investigating the arch villain, Perez. Bill's hires a boat to take the children to Penguin Island. But Perez makes plans to insure Bill and the children pose no threat to his nefarious scheme.

Bill and the children arrive on Penguin Island. While Bill goes fishing to secure an evening meal, the children decide to explore, enthralled with the notion of living in the wild. But they don't notice the strange, wild-haired man watching them, Te Ariki, who they soon befriend. Meanwhile, Perez spies on Bill using a tracking device and sends four men to take him prisoner.

Horace Tipperlong arrives at Penguin Island in his little boat to see the penguins. But the children, suspecting he is involved with the disappearance of BiIll, steal his boat and set off to rescue Bill. Allison, having failed to reach Bill on his mobile phone, is getting very concerned and enlists the help of Dennis. But will this be enough to save the day?

On family holiday in the Black Mountains in Germany, while Allison paints, Bill works - and the children go on a pony trek with Hans. After the ponies are frightened away at their camp, Hans rides off in pursuit but is knocked off his horse and lies unconscious. All their supplies were on the ponies so the children must search for food. But unbeknown to them, there are greater dangers.

Unaware of the children's plight, Bill proposes marriage to Allison. But her happiness is clouded as the children fail to turn up when they should. A search party is organised. Meanwhile, the children are lost and the Mountain rumbles ominously. Philip tries to rescue Alexai, who is pursued by guards, but ends up captured. While the others decide to follow they fall into a snow hole.

Attempting to rescue Philip from the Mountain, the children take a wrong turn and discover the anti-gravity cavern. Bill and Allison are aware of the Mountain rumbling and when Bill sees a helicopter land he decides to investigate further. The guards discover Philip is not with Alexai and sound the alarm which places the children in danger - and they're desperate for their latest adventure to end.

Bill and Allison prepare for their wedding but Sir George orders Bill to drop everything in order to get on the trail of arch villain, Slade. Allison is devastated. The children suggest that they go instead with Allison on the cruise she had planned with Bill and she agrees. But when Lucy-Ann buys a Galley ship in a bottle that Slade is looking for, the children find themselves in terrible danger.

Slade arrives on the ship in disguise as a guest called Eppy with his son, Lucas, in an attempt to befriend the children. Lucas gives Jack a birthday present - a watch, actually with a tracking device on it. Slade and Igor continue to try and steal the Galley and after the bottle breaks, Jack discovers an old map in the ship. The children work together to try and discover where the map leads.

The children continue the search to find where the map leads, with Slade and Igor in close pursuit. After getting a message from home, Allison discovers that she has been tricked. Bill arrives at the ship and searches for clues as to the children's whereabouts. In a photo from the cruise he recognises Slade and quickly realises that the children are in enormous danger.

The children are looking forward to going on their summer holidays with Bill and Allison - but when Bill is instructed by Sir George to guard the future prince of Tauri-Hessia, the children are not impressed. Unknown to Bill, the sinister Madame Tatiosa's plans to kidnap the king and place the young prince on the throne. Oblivious to their machinations, the family prepares for their holiday.

Jack is taken to an airfield where he manages to hide in the cargo hold of a helicopter while the others are being bundled aboard. Meanwhile, Bill and Allison attempt to escape from their bonds. On arrival in Tauri-Hessia, Jack and Kiki do not slip away unnoticed and are pursued. The other children are thrown in the dungeon of Borkin Castle. Jack and Kiki makes their way to the Castle to help.

After finding his way to the Castle and discovering the heavy lock on the dungeon door, Jack leaves and promises the others he will return with help. He goes back to the circus to enlist the help of his newfound friend, Pedro. Meanwhile, the King is captured and taken to Borkin Castle. The children have once again found themselves a part of a bigger scheme and a thrilling adventure.

The family go on holiday in Turkey. Bill gets a call from Sir George and is asked to find information on a small-time blundering criminal called Uma, while he is on holiday. At the hotel they meet a boy called Oola, the badly treated assistant of a snake charmer. Later that evening the children help Oola. The next day, the family leaves on their river boat, unaware of what they are getting into.

After discovering Oola on board, the children invite him to stay and Allison agrees. Bill returns with bad news. The holiday will have to end. But the children persuade Bill to stay another day so they can explore the Temple sights along the river. But their tour guide suddenly abandons them and Jack's PC goes missing. Uma invites Bill and Allison to join him, leaving the children alone.

Bill and Allison have been kidnapped by Uma. After retreating into a cave, the children find the inner ruins of the Temple and discover the mysterious Zero One. When Uma arrives he is shocked to find the Zero One missing and sends his men after the children who are desperate and must look to their greatest resources to successfully conclude their latest adventure.
