John Brickner (Steve Austin) gets involved in the hard-edged, bare-knuckles world of illegal fighting when he is offered a chance to make big money in an underground fighting circuit. Despite his unwillingness to fight, John accepts the challenge, not because he wants to but because someone else's life depends on it. Brickner takes any fight he can get, fights in warehouses, on docks, all under insanely dangerous conditions. John must put aside his fear of going too far in order to serve a purpose greater than himself.
