Kaito has been burdened with a ten billion yen debt in exchange for Enter the Gold. Big Money Company's Mitsuo Zaizen and Fukuta Kanemaru, and his sister Ai Gosho are in a panic! However, Kaito declares with sunny luminance that he'll pay back the debt. Then, Nagare makes a certain proposal. "I want to have a hero battle with you."

The prize is an astounding ten billion yen! Enthusiastic to take the championship and repay his debt in full, Kaito had planned to participate with his comrades from the Big Money Company, but cannot pay the 10,000 yen entry fee.

With it decided that they will participate in the Big Money Hero Wars, Kaito and the others have their eyes on breaking through the preliminaries. But first, Kaito heads to his familiar barber to get some upkeep on his regent hairdo. However, a new beauty salon has stolen his customers and driven him to close shop.

Kaito and gang arrive at Big Money Bay to catch some fish for dinner where they meet the third heir to "The Fish Samurai Shop," the oldest shop in the Big Money Fresh Fish Market Castle: Isshin Uminari. The two of them immediately hit it off, but when they learn they are both in the Hero Wars, they clash in a Hero Battle! Whose passion will burn brightest!?

A rival appears for Big Money Company! Lead by Hana Akinai, their name is "Money-grubbing Corporation." Hana has cultivated the girl's "Detention Club," where they study with their clients into a huge success. Since Kaito hates to lose this gets his competitive streak all fired up. He starts the "Big Money Detention Club," but...

Big Money Company shows up at to help pick tea at the plantation owned by Fukuta's relatives to earn a reward. The manual labor is harder than they expect, leaving them dripping in sweat, and they experience just how hard it is to earn money. What should be a small issue turns into a huge fight due to Nagare being absent from his cram school training camp. If it's come to this, better settle ...

Nagare kept quiet to Kaito and had been participating in the Hero Wars. What's more, he closed a contract with the mysterious character calling himself the Money Ghost and obtained a mighty power. The three others in Big Money Company are shocked. Nagare vanishes and is eliminated from everyone else's memories. This is when a mysterious email reaches Kaito...

Kaito is shocked by his parting with Nagare and loses his energy. Sennen gives him a pep talk, and Kaito commences special training to get back Nagare! Kaito and gang hit the top prize in the shopping district lottery and go to a hot spring hotel. For some reason, Hana and her friends are there at the hotel in waitress uniforms. Also, from what they can see, a seemingly evil land prospector appears and presses the hostess to eviction. Kaito's Bankfon has broken, but he borrows everyone's sentiments and Hero Suits, and challenges him to a Her...

Isn't there some quick and easy way to get stronger? One of Platina's prophecies zaps in just as Kaito is thinking that. It appears a fortune teller will be instrumental to everyone getting stronger. When it comes to fortune tellers, it has to be Platina! Kaito and the others give Platina the VIP treatment, but Fukuta isn't pleased...

Kaito and the others make their way to Iron Town to get a refrigerator fixed. There they meet Tetsunosuke "Kintetsu" Kanagata. Kaito adores the chivalrous and lively Kintetsu whose body is half machine, but it turns out he too is a fight leader who entered the Hero Wars to pay off Iron Town's debt!

Kaito beat Kintetsu, but the debt repayment period for Iron Town has lapsed and the factory is being demolished. At the command is the president of Cyber Emperor: Deborah Kizaki. Kaito challenges Deborah to a battle waging Iron Town on a Gamble Rule. Deborah accepts and says he will take Enter the Gold if he is victorious.

Kaito is defeated by Deborah and has Enter the Gold taken away. Or so he thinks, until that very moment Sennen barges in and overrides the battle. Kaito is publicly criticized and eager to have another match with him, but Sennen tells him he can't win unless he recatalogs Enter the Gold's hidden power.

Kaito is victorious against Deborah with Enter the Speed and is set to appear in the Big Money Hero Wars finals. Isshin, Hana, as well as Nagare make it through the first round. Kaito heads into his fated first round for the ten billion yen prize, the right to challenge the champion Ryouta Arashimaya, and most importantly, to get Nagare back!

A transfer student comes to Kaito's class. His name is Li-Chi Long, a curt boy they met at the Big Money Hero Wars finals opening ceremony. Kaito takes a liking to him and half pushes Long into joining Big Money Company and treats him to his grandfather, Zouan Gosho's, pickled plums. Long begins to open up to Kaito's inherent cheerfulness bit by bit, however...

Long, who was accepted as Big Money Company's Vice President, was actually a spy sent by the Money Ghost. Kaito heads into round two of the Hero Wars none the wiser. His opponent is so dull he believes he will win an overwhelming victory and uses Explosive Gold Rush right off the bat. However, an unforeseen "bug" occurs, and he might be in big trouble!

The Money Ghost's plan ends in failure. Long is sure the fact he's a spy has been discovered and readies himself, but Kaito and the others don't even suspect him! Kaito's belief that smiles are free lights a fire in Long's heart, and his flames of revenge flicker. All the while, Kaito's third match begins! His opponent is the mysterious assassin, Rohan Yuri.

Hana advances after a favorable win, but her next opponent is none other than Li-Chi Long. Kaito isn't sure who to cheer for knowing that he will fight the winner in the semifinals. On top of it all, Kaito is puzzled when Sennen tells him that Long is from the same circle as Deborah and Rohan. Kaito declares that Long is his friend. What decision will Long make?!

Long takes out Hana with overwhelming force, then bids farewell to Kaito and disappears just like Nagare had. Mitsuo and Fukuta say they've been tricked, but Kaito insists that's not the case.

Nagare defeats Isshin and assures himself a place in the finals. The next semifinal is Kaito VS Li-Chi Long, but Kaito is hesitant to fight Long, who he thought was his friend. Zouan can't just watch and gives Kaito a push, saying "Don't think, just move your body." Kaito's doubts allayed, he decides to take on Long for real! The curtain rises on their passionate fight!

Nagare inhumanely deletes Long after Kaito defeats him. Why did Nagare change? Kaito keeps the lesson Ai learned from their father in his heart and confronts his final opponent, Nagare Amano. Will he be able to take back his close friend and member of Big Money Company? They clash in an intense battle. Who will remain standing at the end?

Kaito somehow manages to triumph over Nagare. He takes possession of the ten billion yen prize and the right to challenge the champion, Ryouta Arashiyama. When Nagare is taken to the hospital, Kaito swears to have such an amazing battle it will open his eyes, and finally challenges the champion! Elsewhere, Sennen and Hikari are acting vigilant behind the scenes...

The Money Ghost, a.k.a. Adachi, finally starts to overwrite the world with Nagare as the "key." Money disappears from Big Money District, and he declares "If you wish to stop me, come to the Underbank!" as the Megalion army digitizes the real world. Kaito breaks into the Underbank to stop the world from being overwritten and to save Nagare!

The Money Ghost, who laid in wait in the Underbank, torments Kaito with the strongest Hero Suit, "The End of Money." Kaito somehow seizes victory with an Explosive Gold Rush! Or so he thinks, when the Money Ghost's Hero Suit transforms into "The Apocalypse"?! Then a miracle occurs when Enter the Gold is driven into a corner...
