The great Carl Reiner joins Carol and the gang! Carl appears in two sketches in this episode: as the husband of an accident-prone woman, and as a marriage counselor to a comedienne and her spouse.

Carol's guest is Paul Sand! A pair of sketches dealing with weddings are featured, addressing the planning and aftermath of the ceremonies. Also: a series of timely bits related to the energy crisis.

Tim Conway hops a plane with the cast for a performance in Sydney, Australia! As The Oldest Conductor, Tim leads the Sydney Orchestra, while ham actor Harvey must contend with a drunken co-star.

Tonight's episode features "Carol & Sis", where hypochondriac Harvey must avoid Carol, who has the Hong Kong Flu, and a take-off of the 1932 romance "Back Street", here called "Back Alley."

Tim Conway can spin any situation into comedy gold, and he proves it here as an airport security officer. Elsewhere, Carol and Harvey play actors suffering Carol's lack of contact lenses onstage.

The always game Steve Lawrence steps into the Fred MacMurray role in a take-off on the classic noir film "Double Indemnity", here named "Double Calamity", with Carol in the femme fatale role.
