It's the start of a new era in the MasterChef Australia kitchen with Andy Allen welcoming in three new judges; Sofia Levin, Poh Ling Yeow and Jean-Christophe Novelli. The judges hand out the aprons before making another huge announcement, massive international superstar chef, the one and only Jamie Oliver, is here!

It's Day Two in the MasterChef Kitchen and already the 22 contestants are thrown into their first big Service Challenge. With Jamie Oliver running the kitchen, they need to impress the judges and feed 40 returning MasterChef Legends with a three-course meal.

The top five cooks from today's challenge will get the chance to cook in the first immunity challenge and avoid the first elimination of the season. But first, Sofia has set them the challenge of making a dish that the judges cannot keep their hands off. 

It's the first immunity challenge of the series and it's a battle of Time Vs Ingredients. Five contestants must choose between one ingredient and a 90-minute cook, OR up to 20 ingredients but only 45-minutes to cook. Who will win Immunity from the very first Elimination Challenge? 

The first elimination of the season is particularly emotional, as the judges and contestants both share their food dreams, and stories of how they got there. With 75 minutes on the clock, the contestants must cook a dish that best represents their food dream. 

Our cooks are set the challenge of making a dish from Mystery Box ingredients chosen by Jamie Oliver's parents, Trevor and Sally, with the four weakest dishes set to send their makers into tomorrow's elimination. 

Today in the MasterChef kitchen five contestants will get a personal Jamie Oliver masterclass as they try to 'Keep Up with Jamie'. There's no recipe, only the ability to watch Jamie like a hawk to recreate an Oliver family recipe. Who will keep up, and who will fall behind? The contestant whose dish least resembles Jamie's in look and taste will be sent home from the competition.

The contestants cook for Immunity in a Team Challenge at the Queen Victoria Night Market, with street food on the menu. In four teams of five, they must create two dishes, one protein-led and one vegetarian to feed the hungry masses and wow the judges. After today, it will also be time to farewell wonderful guest judge, Jamie Oliver.

Andy's mum Maree is in the kitchen with an incredible elimination challenge where the contestants must create a new dish taking inspiration from one her household classics: The Pine Burger, Maree's Lamb Chops & Maree's Fruit Salad Slice. The five least impressive dishes will go into Round 2 today, and from there, someone will leave the MasterChef kitchen.

This second Mystery Box comes with a twist our judges present secret ingredients that our cooks must use in their dish.  The problem is, they won't know what the ingredients are until 30 minutes into their cook. The bottom four dishes will face the first pressure test elimination of the series.

4 Michelin star chef and MasterChef judge Jean-Christophe Novelli sets the first Pressure Test of the season with his 1992 dessert 'Jack in the Box' which helped him secure his first Michelin star and save his restaurant from financial ruin.

It's a two-round Immunity challenge today. In the first round, six contestants represent their teammates, each cooking with a unique ingredient. The Round 1 winner then cooks against their teammates using a BBQ, where the best dish will win its maker immunity from the next elimination. 

Today's two round elimination sees the MasterChef classic, the One Inch Cube taste test, where our blindfolded contestants must correctly guess up to 100 cubed ingredients to avoid round two. Six cooks find themselves in Round 2, with 75 minutes to create a dish using only the ingredients from round one, and where the least impressive dish will send its maker sent home.

A French-themed Mystery Box in Bendigo, curated by Jean-Christophe, has the contestants reaching for their finest French cooking skills to create 'magnifique' dishes. Who will rise to the occasion and avoid tomorrow's pressure test?

Nat, Gillian, Alex and Lourdes battle it out in a Pressure Test at Black Cat Truffles just outside Ballarat. They have four hours to recreate truffle farm owner - and hatted chef - Liam Downes' signature dish, Smoked Egg Yolk Raviolo with Truffle and Asparagus. Sadly for one, this will be their last cook in the competition.

In the MasterChef kitchen today the cooks are divided into four teams where they must compete in the famous MasterChef Team Relay, in a bid to create one tasty, cohesive plate of food - easier said than done with only 30 seconds to handover between each leg! Which team will take out immunity and avoid this week's elimination challenge?

MasterChef favorite Luke Nguyen has selected 24 South East Asian ingredients for today's elimination challenge. Contestants are assigned two ingredients - one they can see and one they can't. They must choose whether to gamble their ingredient, or cook with it. Those in the bottom five will need to use their remaining ingredient in Round 2, so they must choose wisely! 

"DimSimLim" aka Vincent Yeow Lim is today's Mystery Box special guest, demonstrating his viral sensation dish, "Flying Lobster Noodles". Contestants must create a dish using a wok for at least one element. The pressure is on to harness the flame and impress, as the bottom four dishes are destined for tomorrow's Pressure Test.

The pink-haired punk princess of pastry, Anna Polyviou returns with a pressure test inspired by Australia's brunch obsession. The "Sunny Side Up" dessert was created especially for this challenge and an egg on toast has never looked so intimidating. For one contestant, it will be the last dish they cook in the MasterChef kitchen.

Today the Judges each demonstrate a microwave hack - crispy chicken skin, sweet potato chips, a caramelised white chocolate crumb and meringue - and task our contestants with creating an immunity winning dish incorporating one of them. Boundaries are pushed in a very creative cook which will see one contender nab immunity.

Guest Mikiko Terasaki of Sydney's Omu restaurant shows off her technique in making Japanese comfort dish, omurice. Inspired by the visit from viral sensation Mikiko, contestants will have 75 minutes to create a dish featuring eggs creatively in order to avoid elimination.

A mystery box challenge with a saucy twist. The remaining contestants have 75 minutes to cook a showstopping dish, using at least one of the box's six Asian sauces. Some play it safe, while others push the boundaries with sweet and savoury dishes; the bottom four will face off in tomorrow's pressure test.

MasterChef legend Daren Purchese returns with his toughest challenge yet. Inspired by Japan, Darren's exquisite Cherry Blossom dessert will push the novice cooks to their limits as they try to replicate it in four hours. For one talented cook, this will be the dish that sends them home.

Eight eliminated contestants return for the chance to cook their way back into the competition. They have 75 minutes to cook a winning dish with a herb allocated at random. With only one white apron on offer, the competition is bound to be fierce.
