The narrative gives a glimpse of a humble household in India where Ajay, a garland maker and his sister Mamta, a mehendi artist struggle to make ends meet. She is going bald in patches which makes it increasingly difficult for Ajay to find a suitable groom for her sister which causes constant conflict between the two.
