The Roadshow is blasting off into outer space! Via the leafy confines of Chenies Manor in Buckinghamshire. A collector of Star Wars memorabilia reveals an iconic plastic helmet worth an astronomical amount of money. Other finds include two paintings of the Titanic, an intricate bamboo pot and a painting by one of Britain's first modern artists of a still life with pint of beer!

The Antiques Roadshow returns to Chenies Manor where the team unwrap a train set that hasn't been out of its box in over 70 years. An unassuming 19th-century plant stand provides one of the biggest surprises of the series, while the family of a glassblower pay a moving tribute to their father's work. Plus, there's a heartbreaking letter from a soldier to be opened in the event of his death.

Remarkable finds include a Victorian brooch in the shape of a frog, a carved coconut steeped in maritime history and a tapestry woven in tribute to the rock band Status Quo! Plus, there's the story of a daring D-Day raid as told by a veteran commando.

The Roadshow visits Towneley Hall in Lancashire, where the team admire a collection of cut-throat razors, still used by their owner. But will they prove to be a cut above the rest? Also appraised are a Tiffany mosaic with a remarkable story and there's a veteran fan of the Lone Ranger who arrives in full costume. There's also a rather unusual tea caddy in a very suggestive shape.

The Roadshow visits Waltham Forest Town Hall in London, where a lively crowd reveal surprises including a bust of violin maestro Yehudi Menuhin, a ring by one of the world's great jewelers and an old train ticket that is worth a little more than it originally cost. Other finds include a remarkable Rolex with an intriguing connection to Britain's Special Forces, that James Bond would be proud of.

The Roadshow marks the festive season with a look back at some of the year's highlights and heart-warming updates about unusual items that have appeared on the show. There's news concerning a striking piece of Banksy street art and an exciting development with a Faberge egg. And there's an emotional meeting when a rock fan, paralyzed in an accident, meets his favorite band.

The Roadshow visits Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow, where discoveries include a rare silver cup from the time of Oliver Cromwell, a spectacular claymore sword and treasured comics featuring Scotland's beloved cartoon rogue 'Oor Wullie'. And the team are intrigued and a little unsettled by an army of insects mounted in precious metals as they delve into the Victorian fascination for taxidermy.

It's a busy late summer's day as the Roadshow visits exquisite Tudor manor house Barrington Court, where the choice finds include a toy Noah's ark from the 1920s, a valuable Flemish Old Master painted on copper and a collection of ceramic brewery figures that are somewhat the worse for wear. And there's hope for bargain hunters as a flea market find is revealed to be a rare Elizabethan wine jug.

The Antiques Roadshow returns to Barrington Court in Somerset, where finds include a revolver believed to have been owned by Wild West showman Buffalo Bill.

The Roadshow team visits Ashton Court in Bristol, where they are surprised by a very contemporary item: graffiti by anonymous street artist Banksy. But is it authentic? More age-appropriate items include a nautilus shell with a ‘suspenseful' engraving, an automaton that smokes cigarettes and a large globe clock that turns out to be far more significant than its owner could ever have imagined.

The Antiques Roadshow is back at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, where discoveries include a stunning piece of Swedish glass, an invitation to legendary Scottish author Sir Walter Scott's funeral, a stuffed toy called Little Jack Rabbit and one of the rarest money boxes ever found on the show. And, as we are in Scotland, there may just be some light bagpiping on offer.
