Wisting

Wisting and his team are alerted to a horrific crime scene in Larvik, where the severed head of a young asylum seeker is displayed on a spike in the middle of the town square. FBI agent Maggie Griffin returns to investigate the case and aid Wisting. It is now of international interest.

When a body turns up in the net of a local fisherman, a connection is drawn between two murders. Will this lead the detectives to Layla's remains? After a conversation with her brother, Line suspects that Wisting has been intimate with the head of the care center.

Maggie is forced to reveal information that she had previously kept secret from Wisting. The investigation takes a new turn, leading the detectives across the border into Sweden.

In Sweden, Maggie and Wisting find a previous victim hiding under a false name. Together with the Swedish police, they are dragged into a major police operation, but the case ends up back where it started, in Larvik. The final showdown becomes both intense and surprising. Can Maggie and Wisting still trust each other?
