Balraj (Amrish Puri) looks after an orphan Nihal (Milind Gunaji), his boss' grandson, along with his own daughter, Komal (Twinkle Khanna). Upon growing up, Balraj hires a street fighter named Raj (Akshay Kumar) as Komal's bodyguard, not knowing that Nihal and Raj are, in fact, sworn enemies and Raj wants Nihal dead at any cost.
