Tales of Tatonka

Wanji and Cinksi travel through the lands of the renegade wolves to see why there is no salmon in the river. Poum, the bear, tags along and learns that there is a time and place to be noisy. Moose, the youngest elk of the herd, falls behind when migrating in search for food. Our little wolf-cubs must find and save him!

After Wanji makes fun of Pahin the porcupine for acting scared, Yamni challenges them to cross through the geysers and prove that girls are just as brave as boys. Because of an argument, Yamni and Wanji cannot join in on the hunting training. Luta and Ska, their cousins, take advantage of this to scare their friend Moose, the young elk.

A forest fire traps Wanji and Cinksi. Cinksi refuses to abandon his friend who is unable to overcome the fear of the fire and escape the flames. Everyone searches for ways to get them out of danger. Wahi's pine cone reserves have been looted every night as he sleeps. Cinksi, Wanji and the other wolf-cubs promise him that they will find the culprit.

Tork the puma is on the prowl and the wolf-cubs are forbidden from leaving the den. Wanji disobeys anyway and heads out with Cinksi and Wahi. The other wolf-cubs follow their trail to find them before their parents get home. Cinksi, the young wildcat, wants to become a wolf-cub to be a part of the clan and be among friends.

The wolf-cubs go in hot pursuit of a rainbow but get lost once it disappears. Isolated, they're attacked by coyotes. Gathering all the courage he can muster, Moose, the young elk, tries to get his friends out of a serious problem. Wanji falls into a canyon and lands inside a bird's nest. His friends do everything possible to get him out of there.

Pahin tells a story of a scary beast guarding a fabulous cave. Wanji and Cinksi make Pahin take them to find the cave, but does it really exist? Moose runs away because he is ashamed of his father, the head of the heard, who is refusing to fight a young rebel elk. All of his friends search to find him. He discovers that sometimes fighting is not the answer.

Poum stuffs his face with bad berries and gets sick. Wanji and Cinksi head off on an expedition to find the plant remedy that only grows at the foot of the Spirit Bear cave. Poum refuses to hibernate and wants to play instead. Can he fight his natural instinct to sleep or will he get himself into a world of trouble?

Tap-Tap causes a flood and chases Akicita away from its territory. Ever since, the pack of Wicasa is mysteriously attacked and the region becomes very dangerous. When warning Wanji and his friends that the block of ice they are playing on will soon break, Tatonka gets stuck trying to save Moose. Our heroes must do everything possible to save him!

Pahin accidentally attracts the renegade wolves after two wolf-cubs get into a fight over territory. They all learn that when friends disagree, it's their enemies that benefit. While fishing, Cinksi and Wanji take cover from a looming storm. After the storm passes, they discover Tap-Tap stuck in a tree. They must save their beaver friend.

A snowstorm has appeared in the middle of the summer! Winona, a young adult she-wolf, is buried beneath the snow after saving the wolf-cubs. Our wolf-cubs must help save her! TOPA After challenging her sister Topa to cross over a waterfall because she thinks she is too careful, Yamni gets carried off by the river. It is up to Topa to save her sister.

After mistaking coyote howls for their friends, the wolf-cubs have to figure a way out of trouble. They may need the help of Wahi, the squirrel, who has lost his voice trying to howl at the moon. After Wahi saves Cinksi, Cinksi promises to offer to help Wahi if he ever gets into trouble. But when Wahi takes advantage of this power, he quickly learns the consequences.

The wolf-cubs have organized a race to find the juicy berries Poum has mentioned. The winner who arrives first gets the most berries. Poum has to decide whether to continue to cheat or help a friend in need. An earthquake has destroyed Tap-Tap's dam and the young beaver is at risk of being easy prey. The wolf-cubs help her to rebuild her habitat.

It's a scorching summer and Cinksi has discovered a mountain that talks, located right in the territory of Tork the puma. Our friends discover the echo and play in spite of the heat. Pahin, the porcupine, is knocking down trees to pass the time in the summer heat. Wanji and his friends try to find him a place where his quills will not be a danger to them.
