Cat Therapy

Onizuka is a stern man, who works as the manager of an IT company. He is feared by his coworkers who think of him as a demon. The only person who seems to understand him is his subordinate, Kyoko. After a tough day, Onizuka decides to relax at a park bench after taking an antacid. While sitting down, he overhears a couple discussing whether or not to leave a box of kittens behind.

Onizuka is still wondering why he is still so enthralled with these kittens. At work, the new graduate trainee training camp has begun. After another long day on the job, he hurries back to the park worried about the kittens. Despite the pouring rain, he runs straight to the park in hopes that they would be okay. Upon arrival, he notices that one of the cats appears to be sick.

Onizuka struggles to take care of Tora at home due to his lack of experience. He also must hide Tora; pets are not allowed in his home. He hears from Yoshiko that there is a vacant room at the apartment that the trainees are temporarily staying at. He sees this as an opportunity to hide Tora there.

Things aren’t going so well at Onizuka’s job. The president of the company calls him in to let him know that he has been receiving complaints about his attitude. In addition to the letters, he also has been receiving criticism from the new trainees in the company. While it does bother him, all he can think about his beloved Tora…

There is tension in the office with the trainees. However, the stern Onizuka tries to discipline them by explaining that they are being paid by the minute for their time there. Still thinking about Tora, Onizuka gets the bright idea to set up a robotic camera in the vacant room where Tora is staying, so he could watch Tora even at work. However, setting up the camera isn't as easy as he expects.

The trainee program is nearing its end, which meant Tora would not be able to use the vacant room in that apartment any longer. Onizuka goes over to clean up the room ahead of time but leaves Tora there for now. While at work, he occasionally glances at his computer to see if Tora is doing well. It was then that he noticed that Tora was nowhere to be found...

Onizuka is completely obsessed with Tora and can’t handle not being able to see him at all times. Lucky for him, a new product has been introduced at the company; a new mobile phone compatible version of the robotic camera device that he had installed in Tora’s room.

Onizuka goes on a fishing trip with family. During this time, some kids happen to see Onizuka looking at Tora using his cell phone. The kids think he’s playing a mobile game. They then explain to Onizuka that a cat living alone could become lonely and stressed and that having two cats would be better. Later on, he brings Tora to the vet and encounters a strange person with a dog.

Onizuka is mulling over the advice he got from the kids yesterday about buying a second cat; even browsing some online auctions in search of a companion for Tora. After some thinking, he sets his heart on finding a Himalayan cat.

Two cats now live in the vacant apartment. Onizuka visits to give them some treats and ends up wanting to take a photo of them together with his cell phone; something he has never done before. Unfortunately for him, he begins to hear the trainees right outside of the door! In order to avoid being seen, he goes through the balcony.

Onizuka has the photo of his cats, but can’t figure out how to set the photo as his wallpaper. He decides to ask his assistant for help. The trainee program is finally coming to a close. To Onizuka’s surprise, one of them submitted a nice report about him.

Onizuka’s face is swollen and battered from a fist-fight he had with the young couple who had originally abandoned Tora in the park. After sharing some words with Kyoko, he returns to the office. He walks into the president's office with some serious news.
