Protect the Boss

Eun Sol gets in a physical brawl with some strange men and Ji Heon feels that he has to be involved. After the fight, Eun Sol is finally hired by a person named Moo Won for a secretarial position in the service of Ji Heon.

Although she is suspected of being a spy, Eun Sol assures Ji Heon that she will work very hard. One of Eun Sol's first and most important career tasks is given to her by Chairman Cha; she has to make sure that Ji Heon comes to work right on time!

Things heat up in the third episode; in the aftermath of Ji Heon and Eun Sol spending the night together, Moo Won becomes increasingly more surprised. Meanwhile, Ji Heon's persistent former lover, Na Yoon, keeps talking about their past and Ji Heon tries to get her to back away from him.

Eun Sol and Na Yoon have an awkward face-off when Na Yoon declares that Eun Sol needs to respect her relationship with Ji Heon, but Eun Sol sees right through her. Afterwards, newspaper reporters begin to harass Eun Sol at her work and Ji Heon has to ward them off

Ji Heon gets some bonus points from his boss, Chairman Cha, for perfecting a presentation with a few company shareholders. Moo Won, the person who was able to get a secretarial job for Eun Sol, is having a very gloomy day and becomes depressed, but Eun Sol successfully consoles him.

Eun Sol becomes very frustrated with having to take care of Ji Heon's every need as he becomes increasingly more dependent on her. She decides that she might want to finally quit her job. Instead of having such a suffocating job, she wants a regular one that will just pay her bills.

Mrs. Song finally declares who she will be supporting when the time comes for the future leader of the company. Ji Heon becomes nervous about his upcoming presentation, and the gracious Eun Sol decides to help him. Moo Won is jealous of Ji Heon and Eun Sol's close work relationship.

Moo Won becomes drunk after he and Na Yoon have a gathering with singing and drinking. Chairman Cha sympathizes with Eun Seol's situation and arranges for her to take flower and music lessons, both of which she is very enthusiastic about. Ji Heon can only look on as Eun Seol improves her life.

Eun Seol decides that she needs to talk to Chairman Cha about his bad activities. She urges him to confess the details of what he has done to the Office of the Prosecutor. Chairman Cha does not take her advice well and he yells at her to leave his presence.

Eun Seol and Ji Heon get into an argument when he accuses her of being the informer, but Eun Seol repeatedly assures him that she is not the one who gave Chairman Cha up. Ji Heon manages to escape charges but Chairman Cha is not as lucky.

Although Eun Seol is noticeably sad, Ji Heon and Eun Seol agree to mutually call off their romantic relationship. As a result of the breakup of her relationships with a number of company employees, she reluctantly agrees to be transferred to another part of the company in South Korea's countryside.

Eun Seol feels a certain amount of guilt regarding what has happened to Chairman Cha, and she decides to accompany him on his community service trips. Ji Heon manages to convince Chairman Cha that his relationship with Eun Seol will not harm the company, and Chairman Cha eventually consents to it.
