At the end of a 45-year career teaching music to children in San Francisco, Doug Goodkin’s time-tested methods are thrown into disarray as the Covid pandemic forces schools into distance learning, and his hands-on music program has to overcome physical separation and find a way to keep the music playing and the learning going.
