The Miniature Fighter competition was born from the desperation of a country on the brink of defeat with limited resources and an ample supply of imagination. Some concepts were more successful than others as Germany took a kind of shot gun approach to create war winning designs. In the end as resourceful as the Germans were, they lacked the resources and manpower to reverse their fortunes.
