Beyond Evil

The `nutcase' of Manyang Substation, Assistant Inspector Lee Dong-sik (Shin Ha-Kyun), meets Han Ju-won (Yeo Jin-goo), an Inspector from the Foreign Affairs Division of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. The two, who cannot be any more different from each other, become unwilling partners and fight at every turn, until they come across an unexpected body.

Dong-sik and Ju-won are unable to put aside their differences after they discover the skeleton. Ju-won pursues Dong-sik, while Dong-sik investigates Ju-won and his past. As their distrust in each other deepens, they witness a sight that leaves them speechless during patrol.

With one violent crime happening after another, the once-peaceful Manyang is swept up in grief and fear. Meanwhile, as the investigation of Kang Min-jeong's whereabouts continues, Dong-sik displays suspicious behavior, and Ju-won is driven to a corner.
