Engineer Francesco Ferraro is sent to Smeraldo (Emerald) Island in the Seychelles to oversee the tests necessary to dig a silver mine. But Francesco must also find out what happened to his predecessor whom vanished without a trace. The film is the acting debut of Laura Gemser. It was shot in the Seychelles, was a box office success and launched the career of Gemser in Italian genre cinema.
