Oh Soo and Sang Moon head to the city gate to trade with Qing. Hak Jun schemes to mess with them.

Haeng Soo is imprisoned. Hak Jun tempts him to betray his boss. Merchant Council opens to try Haeng Soo.

Cheonga Merchant Guild and the Uiju gate guards fight. Lead Merchant Cheon asks the prison guard for So Gae.

Cheon So Rye goes to Ganggyeong to get revenge on Hak Jun. Jo Seong Jun and his men find and save Bong Sam.

Bong Sam and Dol excel at their test. But Seong Jun declares for Bong Sam to be disciplined.

Seong Jun tests Bong Sam again. So Gae joins Gae Ddong. So Rye heads to Hanyang to find Bong Sam.

Bong Sam and So Rye almost reunite. Man Chi steals Songpa Stable’s files and kidnaps Bang Geum.

Bong Sam gets the round-robin Seong Jun has circulated. So Gae also receives it and recognizes Man Chi.

Mysterious men in masks attack Bong Sam and Seong Jun. Gae Ddong is irresistibly drawn to an off-beaten path.

Seong Jun plans to sneak into Hak Jun’s party. Bong Sam sees Sun Dol get dragged by the Shinga Guild.

So Gae and Seong Jun plan to kidnap Hak Jun at his 60th birthday party, but So Rye interferes.

Bong Sam watches Jo Seong Jun die and plots revenge. Gae Ddong reunites with Bong Sam and tells him his wish.

Bong Sam visits his regular clients to borrow money but fails. The stable is to be cleared within five days.

Kim Bo Hyun and Shin Seok Ju butt heads over the grain tax. Bo Hyun makes Gil So Gae the grain tax inspector.

Bong Sam and So Sa affirm each other’s love. Seok Ju sees them and realizes the relationship between them.

Looters loot the rice from Ship Segok. Bong Sam tries to get the grains back, only to find a surprise.

So Rye returns the stolen grains to Bong Sam and asks him for forgiveness. He gets framed as a looter.

Bong Sam gets released and meets So Rye. Bong Sam must accept his death to own up to the lost grains.

Bong Sam heads to Pyonggang for a porter job. Merchant Hwang tells Bong Sam about his father.

So Gae sells Gab Soo Bong Sam’s information in exchange for Bong Sam’s death and his snow-white papers.

Seok Ju suggsts Bong Sam to put Gaesong’s Cheonga Merchant Guild on sale and block Bukgwandae-ro.

Bong Sam runs for the provincial official election. Seok Ju signs So Gae up for the election to stop Bong Sam.

So Gae bribes everyone to get elected. Sun Dol tries to expose him. Bong Sam thinks So Sa’s child may be his.

Bong Sam is framed and tortured. Gae Ddong tells Bong Sam that his only way to live is to be Bo Hyun’s man.
