When Barry and Joanne crash Erica and Geoff's peaceful weekend camping trip, they end up in a competition to see who is the better couple, causing some unexpected shifts in relationships. After Adam learns that Brea thinks he has it easy and privileged, he tries to prove her wrong by getting a job, but quickly learns she might be right.

Adam is cast for the lead role in the school play. Barry tries to take advantage of Erica and Geoff's breakup.

Still trying to move on after their breakup, Erica dates a guy from the cafe and Geoff takes part in an episode of a reality dating show, which only makes things more difficult for them. Beverly is excited to discover that Murray has bought a house on the coast of his own free will, but soon discovered that it is not the luxurious property she imagined.

Murray steps in to help Erica get over her breakup with Geoff. Adam prepares a veteran hazing to cement his legacy at William Penn.

With Geoff away for spring break, Erica heads to Hollywood to see her best friend, Lainey. Adam is invited to join the cool guy's poker night.

Erica returns from spring break with the intention of finding out how her relationship with Geoff is going. Adam's plan to get Dave Kim a date for prom goes awry.

Geoff's plan to surprise Erica with a proposal sets off a classic rom-com mix-up.
