Nestled into the Gold Coast of Long Island, New York, Hempstead House served as a summer residence for the Guggenheim Family. This Tudor-style castle is a 50,000 square foot estate with a granite and Indiana limestone exterior.

Glynallyn Castle was inspired by Compton Wynyates, a 16th-century Tudor country house in Warwickshire, England. Now a private residence, Glynallyn has been restored to reflect the castle it once was, with homage to keeping its original 100-year-old charm.

Now called Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the estate was the dream of millionaire James Deering, heir of the International Harvester fortune. Construction began in 1914 and during its height, Deering hired 10% of Miami's workforce.

After earning his fortune in the shoe industry, Thomas Plant focused on building his country estate in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Castle in the Clouds is an Arts and Crafts-style mansion perched atop a mountain overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.

Bishop's Palace, also known as Gresham's Castle, is an elaborate 19,082 square foot Victorian-style house located in Galveston, Texas. This three-story Châteauesque residence was built for attorney and legislator Walter Gresham between 1887 and 1892.
