Raju (Chiranjeevi) is forced to leave his job at a shipyard to find a better job in the city to pay for his paralytic mother's medical expenses. He joins Uma Devi's (Nagma) company and becomes a union leader. To silent conflicts, Uma marries Raju. Uma becomes a target of Ranganayakulu (Satyanarayana) and how Raju saves her and teaches her a lesson forms the story.
