Eddie and Jenn return from a romantic getaway only to discover someone has broken into their house and are holding hostages.

Cassie and Charles are caught on video in a compromising position, while Sage's mom makes a difficult decision.

Lizzie adjusts to her new private school, Tay gets involved with some bad people who want to record the song he performed at Revolution, Cassie thinks she is pregnant, Charles tries to get into a summer design school, Mrs. Kingston becomes in charge of Jenn at the clinic, and Sage finds out about Lund's alcoholism and convinces him to go to rehab.

Sage witnesses a death at the clinic that should not have happened and Mrs. Kingston tries to blackmail her only to have Sage turn the tables on her. Cassie and Charles talk about slowing down their sex life. Lizzie skips school with Tay and Devin. Meanwhile, Eddie and Jenn try to help Dana out of an abusive relationship.

Eddie accidently puts Tay in danger when he tries to stop a robbery which brings back memories from Eddie's past.

Eddie works to prevent the release of the man that ordered a hit on his mother.

Everyone in the Sutton house comes to terms with Johnny's accident in different ways.

Hazel Glass arrives at the Sutton home and reveals the history to their home. The Sutton's band with the neighborhood to fight Reverend Kingston to keep the Peace Park. Meanwhile, Tay meets a recording artist while his parents punish him in a rehab center for drinking alcohol.

Jenn and Eddie agree to chaperone the prom and Cassie must deal with Charles and Sage together at the dance.

An earthquake occurs in Lincoln Heights. Lund is beaten by looters, Mac attacks Charles and Cassie but is struck by large debris in the apartment, Tay is stuck at the Revolution café with Kendra, Jenn takes control at the clinic when the lead doctor is hurt, and Eddie realizes he is Nathaniel Ray's father when Nathaniel needs a blood transfusion.
