تصل أصعب الحالات وأكثرها جنوناً خلال المناوبة الليلية في مشفى "سان أنطونيو" التذكاري. بعد تولي السيطرة على الأمور المالية، يصرّ مدير المشفى "مايكل راغوسا" على متابعة العمل حتى لو كان يعني ذلك اتخاذ قرارات مادية تتعارض مع رأي الفريق العنيد.
