The Money Shot

King of the French X-rated film industry Alex Valadine’s crown is slipping, as are his finances. There is only one way to survive and make money in the porn industry nowadays and that is to go hardcore. Alex soon finds his company under new management, meet his sons Laurent and Lapo and prodigal daughter Sarah.

The Valadine family are left in state of shock following an attack from a deranged fan. While Laurent in the hospital, Sarah, has her first experience of what the family business is all about, as she becomes the head of Xanadu. Lapo, makes a deal with a competitor and directs a fake sex tape for a fame hungry starlet. Meanwhile Varvara delivers some surprising news to Alex.

Sarah, introduces a dismissive and hesitant Alex to the statuesque beauty, Vanessa Body, the new face and star of Xanadu. Varvara runs into an old friend, Coralie who has retired from the industry and is determined to erase her past by withdrawing her films from the internet - easier said than done. Meanwhile, Lapo come up with an original idea to shake things up…

Alex decides it is time to make his big comeback and get back behind the camera to direct, however he is soon overwhelmed by fear, not helped when the seemingly perfect Vanessa Body reveals the scars of her past. Once again Sarah takes the reins, and with the help of Lapo they launch a video on the internet. The video and its mesmerizing lead actress, Lou, immediately generate a frenzied buzz.

Recovering from his coma, Laurent is a new man, but with no interest in the business he decides he needs a change and plans to carve out a new life for himself and his family. Alex is not his usual self either, preoccupied by his lack of desire for his young wife, he also turns his back on Xanadu. Lapo desperately searches for Chloe, a strange girl he cannot forget.
