Three months after encountering Trigon, Dick is hard at work training Rachel, Gar and Jason in Titans Tower. The rest of the heroes attempt the next phase of their lives as Hank and Dawn retreat to Wyoming, and a mysterious young runaway appears.

Dick finally reveals the truth to the team as flashbacks show the secret behind Deathstroke's vendetta against the Titans. Dick, Donna, Dawn and Hank befriend Jericho Wilson, Deathstroke's son, and Dick must choose between loyalty and revenge.

In the aftermath of Dick's confession, the Titans' world is rocked to the core, and Dick's fear that his secret would break the group up comes true. The heroes abandon Titans Tower and go their separate ways. Faddel has returned with bad news.

After his intentional attack on two police officers results in his arrest, Dick finally finds peace in a Nevada prison. Rachel befriends a runaway girl and takes her under her wing, as Gar is reunited with Conner and Krypto at Titans Tower.

The Titans come together to save Dick and Gar.
