Life is quiet for Hana Asakura, maybe a little too ordinary. Born after the Shaman Fight, the son of Yoh and Anna seems resigned to his fate, no grand destiny awaits him. But everything may change when a forgotten foe resurfaces.

After his duel with Yohane, Hana heads back to fetch a first aid kit to tend to his wounded opponent, who turned out to be weaker than expected. On the way, he runs into Tamao, who had been drawn to the scene by the commotion. Puzzled by what seems to be a false alarm, the young woman sets off to check on something

After her brother's initial defeat, Luca Asakura arrives as reinforcements to face Hana right there in the street, in full view of the inn. Just as things begin to spiral out of control, a new ally appears, clad in a familiar shape.
