Guan Xiao Tong, a matchmaker with chronically bad luck in life and love, is shocked when a divorce agency opens right across from her work, and the rick playboy who works there, Ji Jia Wei, begins entangling himself in her life.

On her boss's order, Xiao Tong must convince Jia Wei to attend the matchmaking agency's event as their Hot Pick. Meanwhile, Jia Wei takes up the false name 'Wayne' to seek love advice from Xiao Tong online.

Xiao Tong seems to have found the perfect 4G man. Meanwhile an incident with one of the divorce agency's clients leads Jia Wei to agree to the hop pick event.

Just as the event is about to fail, Xiang Zi Yang swoops in and saves the day. Jia Wei subsequently proposes a collaboration between the two agencies as an excuse to get closer to Xiao Tong.

The overnight matchmaking event commences with success. Over the course of the night, Xiao Tong and Jia Wei bond over their past heartbreaks.

A disgruntled client from the matchmaking event stalks Xiao Tong and threatens lawsuit against the company, causing Xiao Tong to doubt her own ability to continue being Dr. Love.

With Dr. Love's help, Jia Wei gets over his former girlfriend. Xiao Tong, through helping Wayne, reaches an epiphany of her own about her past relationship.

Jia Wei awaits Xiao Tong's answer to his confession, but just as things are looking up, his old flame returns.

Xiao Tong finds out that Jia Wei's model ex-girlfriend has come back to Taipei, and learns of the story behind his special day, May 15th.

Xiao Tong and Jia Wei make up after the radio show fiasco, and Jia Wei confronts Zhi Yu about her accident.

Jia Wei ups his game when he realizes that he has a rival for Xiao Tong's affection.

Jia Wei sets up a dinner to reunite his parents and introduce Xiao Tong to them. Xiao Tong accidentally learns the real reason why Mama Ji returned.

As Xiao Tong struggles with whether or not to tell Jia Wei the truth, she realizes that her current relationship is making her unhappy.

Jia Wei deals with the break-up with the help of his friends, while Xiao Tong becomes convinced that Jia Wei has gotten back together with Zhi Yu.

After Polo goes missing, Jia Wei finds out an important truth about himself, and confronts various people about his past.
