Everyday, thousands of people ride the subway. One night, the last train speeds by the station and disappears into a dark tunnel, taking along frightened passengers with it. The authorities are informed, but the incident is immediately classified top-secret. Several days later, the lost passengers' friends begin their own investigation and hire a "digger", an explorer of underground structures.
