Making Fiends

It's Charlotte's first day at her new school in Clamburg. Charlotte's new school is great. There are giant cats, you can bring your pet hamster and it's always recess! Plus, Charlotte makes a new best friend: an little blue girl named Vendetta.

At lunchtime, Charlotte notices that the same meal is served every day: clams, beef jerky and grape punch. Charlotte, worried about the lack of nutritional value in the meal, decides to bring vegetables to school, but Vendetta will not eat vegetables!

Vendetta has found the perfect way to destroy Charlotte: she will shrink her. Vendetta creates a shrinking slug, and as soon as Charlotte touches the fiend is as tiny as Buttons, her hamster.

Vendetta, at her wits end over Charlotte's annoying behavior, uses her fiend multiplier to make vicious guard dog fiends to protect the places she likes to go.

Vendetta walks through the park, only to discover that Charlotte has taken her tiny parents on a picnic, and they are having such a good time that they refuse to come home with her. Much to Vendetta's annoyance, Charlotte has planned a Pancake Festival.

Vendetta is desperate to keep Charlotte away from her house, so she creates a tornado fiend that picks up Charlotte's house and sends it flying off into the sky. Charlotte and Vendetta share a dream about a land made of cheese.
