Holly returns home for Christmas and is put to work as a Santa’s elf at her family’s store, where she meets substitute Santa Nick and unexpectedly falls in love. When Nick disappears, in a Cinderella story reversal, Holly searches for him with her only clue, his misplaced, black boot, and finally reunites with him at the Christmas Eve dance.
