C0d3rs Championship

Everywhere on our continent there is a potential computer genius who can change the lives of millions of people. In this first episode we meet all the participants and the technology experts lay the groundwork for the competition.

Competitors are curious, intelligent, rigorous and creative. They have the ability to invent, they must be able to create from scratch a system, an application, a program that will be useful to many. In this episode, the competitors have to develop a visual recognition model to identify insects that attack agricultural plantations.

Technology is an inexhaustible source of innovation and creativity. Technological knowledge has become the main source of economic progress in modern societies and this competition is witnessing the changes taking place in our era. Coders must devise a model that makes it possible to predict which students are at risk of dropping out of universities.

Every minute, digital technology advances and collaborates in the dynamics of societies achieving unprecedented advances. In this episode, the participants are challenged to develop a model that interprets and helps classify the queries of a bank's customers, in order to implement an efficient automated response system.

Technology is not a thing or an object but a process: that is, the ability to transform or combine something already existing to build something new, to give it another function. With this premise, the coders must create a model that allows them to anticipate the ideal moment to replenish the merchandise in the beverage vending machines of São Paulo's subway network.

Programming is a way of looking at the world. More and more people are approaching the coding language to learn the way and its logic of thinking. In this challenge, they have to develop a tool to make it easier for as many unemployed people as possible to have access to job interviews.

For each competitor this is a unique opportunity to be able to solve real-world problems that affect millions of people. For some it is the starting point of their career and for others it will be confirmation that they are on the right track. This will be the last challenge before the final and it comes with a surprise: the contestant with the best score will win a car!

Throughout the series, each competitor battled to become the best programmer in Latin America. In each challenge they were guided by the desire to excel and the love for what they do. Welcome to the grand finale. The contestants face a stellar challenge: they must find a way to identify new exoplanets using artificial intelligence.
