At a gallery in Croatia, Jeff Bowden walked in front of a photograph taken during the war in Kosovo of a boy wearing a ragged blue sweater. "It felt like a car wreck in my chest," Bowden told a friend. The image was captured by deceased French photojournalist, Alexandra Boulat. Years later, still haunted by the photograph, Bowden sets out to find the boy with the help of a grizzled wartime fixer.
