Tree Hill is a new place. Much has changed in four years; but, in many ways, the journey is just beginning.

Lucas must face his past and choose his future while discovering the demands of coaching the Tree Hill Ravens. Haley decides to hire a nanny. Plus, Haley's first day of teaching turns out differently from what she expected. Meanwhile, Jamie sets his sights on a Soap Box derby race and enlists Skills to help him out. And Mouth's excitement about his new job is tempered by his demanding new boss.

Lucas's editor wonders about Lucas and the timing of his recent creative inspiration. Brooke and Peyton make business plans, while Mouth tries to win points with his boss, Alice. Meanwhile, Lucas and Skills finally make some headway with the Ravens, and Nathan tries to wrestle free from the legacy left by Dan. Plus, KEVIN FEDERLINE guest stars as a problematic musician.

While Brooke makes plans for Clothes over Bros, Peyton finds she has her hands full when the musician she just signed turns out to be problematic. Meanwhile, Haley's own interest in music leads her back to the recording studio. Nathan tries unsuccessfully to corral a defiant player, Quentin, and Mouth's relationship with his boss grows heated.

In an episode set three years in the past, Lucas visits Peyton in Los Angeles with an offer that will change their relationship forever. Brooke must make a difficult decision about the future of her clothing line. Whitey is concerned when Nathan's temper flares on the night of the college basketball championship. And Haley struggles to balance the pressures of school and being a new mom.

Confrontations abound in Tree Hill. Lucas confronts Peyton about her harsh treatment of his editor, Lindsey, and Brooke intervenes when Victoria meddles with Peyton's record label. Meanwhile, Nathan grows closer to Jamie's live-in nanny, Carrie, and Haley is challenged by her difficult student Quentin. Plus, Mouth is torn between loyalty to his coworkers and his illicit affair with his boss.

It's a Tree Hill reunion as the entire gang gathers at Tric to see musical group The Honorary Title perform. Peyton and Haley see this as an opportunity to introduce their musical act; Carrie sees it as her chance to get closer to Nathan. Meanwhile, Brooke forces an unsuspecting Mouth to go on a blind date with Millicent. And Lindsey confronts Lucas about sneaking off to see Peyton.

While Haley wrestles with whether to reveal information that could ruin Lucas' relationship, Peyton admits her feelings to Lucas. Brooke makes a play for Owen. Mouth tries to convince Millicent that he's a better man than she thinks he is. Nathan is put in a position that could spell the end of his marriage. And Lucas and Skills face the prospect of playing their season opener at a disadvantage.

At the first basketball game of the season, Haley, Brooke, Peyton, Lindsey and Mia get locked in the Tree Hill High library. Peyton and Lindsey face off over Lucas, and Brooke tries to stand up for her mother. Haley plays mentor to Mia. Meanwhile, Mouth, who is covering the game, struggles to find a story. And Lucas and Nathan grapple with whether to tell loved ones about various indiscretions.

When Brooke takes Owen (recurring guest star JOE MANGANIELLO) to New York for a glimpse of her other life, she's faced with a ghost from her past. Nathan and Lucas muster their courage to attend Dan's (recurring guest star PAUL JOHANSSON) parole hearing, and Haley reels from a devastating blow to her marriage. Plus, a major record label takes an interest in Peyton's recording artist.

On the eve of their own wedding, Lucas and Lindsey conspire to save Nathan and Haley's marriage. Brooke pairs Peyton with a surprise old boyfriend, all the while dealing with Victoria. And Rachel returns to Tree Hill to face old challenges; Dan also returns, hoping for a fresh start.

It's Lucas and Lindsey's (recurring guest star MICHAELA McMANUS) wedding day and Peyton must choose whether to intervene or lose her true love forever. Nathan uses the occasion to attempt to reconcile with Haley, and the recently paroled Dan (recurring guest star PAUL JOHANNSSON) shows up for the family reunion. 100th episode

Lucas looks into Dan's (PAUL JOHANNSSON) illness, Nathan urges Quentin (ROBBIE JONES) to reinvent his game, Brooke juggles life as a mom and Mouth gets a shot as a sports anchor.

Lucas is crushed by devastating news, and Brooke's baby needs emergency surgery. Skills and Nathan, in an effort to salvage the Raven's season, employ a risky game plan.

Brooke deals with giving up her baby, Lucas deals with his game-night fight and Peyton gets news about a ghost from her past.
